France-Greece 0-1 and all Greeks in the world are celebrating tonight!

A 65' header from striker Aggelos Charisteas from Zagorakis's incredible cross awarded the Greek team a tremendous and historical win over the european and World champions France.
Here in Greece EVERYONE is on the streets celebrating the magnificent win, waving Greek flags and singing the national anthem  It will take a while to realize what happened :laff: Things like these make me be proud im Greek ;D

You mean when two players were all up in the goalie? I guess that's no reason to take the goal away right?

I'm happy for Greece, what an upset! I hope Sweden wins =D

Yeah Englands goal (i suppose you are talking about that) was dissalowed correctly because at least one player (Terry) obstructed the goalie from jumping to reach the ball. Even the slightest contact with the keeper in the small area is a foul on the goalkeeper. And that was not a slight contact.

Thing is, Terry kinda feel ontop of the ref and the ref kinda ran into Terry.
Thats why England fans like me are a little annoyed. That and the penalty spot (typical of us to have to take the first pen >.>)
The fact that France are now out cheers me up a bit though
