I like it, I see you're going for alpha mapped hiar, make it longer though. He also had strands of hair hanging down his forehead, It might be me, but I can't see them.

Actually it looks like the back of the helmet he wears, kind of.. but I don't know, looks weird to me, but close.

actually, since ray has modeled him without his false arm, first sword, and his trousers+thigh plates, its safe to assume this is during his Strike Raider Captain era, so he did wear a helmet...

anyway. the face doesnt really strike me as being Gattsu, its just, not right. cant put my finger on why ;_;

yea he did the hai on the forhead you can bearly sen it tho it's the thing on his forhead and i think it's the jaw hat makes him look like Gutz and the eyes don't seen quite right

the skinmap looks good and the but the metal could use some more detail..

Its looking good dude, though I suggest you take a good long look at those references, and try to match them
