Gameplay performance

It keeps on perfoming in a choppy way. ESF will play properly with a good frame rate for about 20-30secs, then it will suddenly freeze for about 2 or 3 seconds. Can some1 help me? :cry:

Might be your vid card ... or some prob in the background ...(a virus scanner?) ... kinda wierd prob ...

I suggest ... reboot more often and defragment your disk every few months

I mean I used to have 50 - 60 fps ... I formated now i got 80 .... :yes:

Every time I try to defragment, it says something about corrupt files or missing files or something, so I cant defragment the drive

yep. Tried that. It decreased my FPS rate by 5fps

Do a THOUROUGH SCAN DISK then DEFRAGMENT.

Make sure you have all the latest windows updates @ http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com

Also, try using my script pack, created mostly for increasing FPS and decreasing lag.

alredy got the script pack and defragmented, but nothing was gained

the game works fine on LAN, but has these problems of freezing for a few seconds on Internet Games (even ones with 8 dots on netplay). I even tried using Mr. Satan's autoexec commands but it kinda made my FPS worse, and I didnt back up the old one. When I inserted the commands the first time yesterday, it worked without freezing as often, but the FPS decreased. Now the FPS is low, and it freezes a bit more often
