Game keeps on crashing

THe game just keeps randomly crashing on me. I run it at 1024x768 with everything turned up. It crashed on 2 different systems. one with an ATI and I just did a clean install of the OS and reinstalled halflife. IT also crashed on my system with my Nvidia.

The EXACT same thing happens for me, and I run the same video resolution.

AMD 2000 XP
ATI Radeon 9000 Pro 128 MB
1 Gig of DDR RAM

It just freezes and then the error report pops up, I press dont send, and it goes to desktop.

Yea! exactly. When i try joining a game the game just freezes in the console and then an error message comes up and I dont send and it takes me to the desktop.
