The water's still giving you a tough time, though? =/
Try experimenting with the pitch of your light_environment entity; that might help you with the weird patches of lighting. You could also try a full VIS and extra RAD if you haven't already done that. They'll lengthen your compile time by a bit, but they've helped me in the past with similar problems.
yup i have both full vis and extra rad options turned on... maybe the bounce in my compile higher? it'll smoothen out the light more? hmm i'll move the pitch around again.. i tried moving it a few times >_< hmm what to do
The only really visible change is the lava texture, thanks for bringing that up, Ravendust. =)
This is the full compile, so you'll see it's a dark map. People don't like maps that are too bright, so I made a dark one. Heh.
And dReAm KiLlEr, you might want to hurry up and get an idea if you want to participate. You're running pretty low on time. D;
I'm also working on another map as an experiment. It may be finished by the deadline, it may not. I kinda did it as an afterthought.
