i think a few ppl noticed this but the views for a thread is incorrect.. it only goes up with every reply instead of views

They added this feature because people would complain...

Example:

Goku177 created a thread called, "My New Sig." It has 3 replies and 9 views.

Sypnosis:

Goku177 becomes mad after 20 minutes, wondering why only 3 out of the 9 people who viewed his thread, replied. He then posts an extremely off-topic rant about how people should post if they're going to take the effort to view it. A mod replies, telling him to calm down. Then he posts a vulgar retaliation. Finally, a mod closes the thread.

All in all, it cuts down on this situation completely, making the forums a lot better place in general.

If you would rather sort the threads by views/alphabetical order/rating just click the titles of the collumns. I guess you don't have the option to sort by most recently viewed though.

It needs to be fixed. If people complain about having 359 views and 2 replies, we will take care of them. I don't like making a thread and not having a clue if anyone has even looked at it.

Yeah and if it stays the same youre better off without the views count.

I don't know if this is covered by this thread but my post count is only rising every 5 or so posts, i've done about 10 posts a day since I broke 600 but it's still at 617, is this a known bug?

Only certain sections in the forum increase your post count.

As far as I know they are
Newbie Central
ESF Chat
Help

Models/Skins
Artwork (not sigs though)
Suggestions

There maybe more but I only post in those.

post count does not matter - why are people obsessed with it?

I just like it because it sort of shows dedication, the more posts you've made, the longer you've been around on the forums and people listen to you more. I don't think my posting style has changed much from 10 posts to 600 but I find I get better responses now.

I don't think you get better responses because of your post count, More likely because people know you better. I don't really look at post count. I just know you from the suggestion forum. We've both been there for a while, hehe.

Not true - join dates serve that purpose :)
