I get tired of crazy people that take these dragon balls and throw them outside the map. Makes me mad. It also makes it impossible to reach them.

I would reccommend a command that forces the dragonballs to start the process after the wish.
What will happen is if the admin with a rcon/serverside command does:

rcon respawnDB

afterwards you will see the dragonballs either fly up and spread out, or explode. (Prefabally explode :) )

then they will just go through the time that it normally takes to respawn the dragonballs.

........agreed. I see no problem with it. Although DB mode is still in its experimental stage.

It's just experimental, calm down. They didn't release it as a fully functional game mode yet. When they actually decide to spend time improving it (1.3 or 1.4) they'll include all kinds of cvars and tweaks, gaurenteed.

the idea is good but it can be used for cheating to
example:
a team gathers 6 DB's and the admin just enters the comand in the console and ruins the wish of the team that worked hard to get them

Theres a million things i could suggest to change about the CTDB. But i know its just for testing right now and the team probably knows how ****ty it is right now. In the future im sure it will be really cool

If you wanted to implement this, it'd be better for it to be an auto spawn thing. If the object moves out of a certain defined map area, it respawns in its original location. Other mods use things like this.

yes!!! this is a very good idea i agree!!!
you should find a way to tweak it against cheating
and since its such a small tweak to ctdbs the team should maybe (PLEASE?!!!)
release it even now as a small fix! I get that problem very often!

in the canyon map people purposely throw them out of bounds so they dont accidentally pick them up again, and so other people cant steal them. Its a good idea but the only problem is that if you dont get all the balls close enough you wont be able to make your wish.

Then leave that server and join a server that doesnt abuse this command. I know DBZ is in expimental stage, but this command is needed cause of people throwing Dragon balls outside of the map ranges.

A good example is esf_falls (non-default):
the map has all of its levels WAY above where the dragon balls will fall if they get thown out. So, if they are even in the same spot, they will be unreachable.

Maby a limiter, like this command once every 5 minutes.
