I cannot get the fireball from Gohan's shield attack to work consistently. Is there some trick to it?

The way to get it to work is.. -
.) hold primary attack down to charge up the shield
.) while still holding primary attack down, press secondary attack down
.) let go of primary attack, but keep secondary attack held down
.) let go of secondary attack, and it will fire
(the ball of energy is stronger depending upon whats been absorbed by the shield, and the attack is called Gohan's Shield Attack)

But also if i might warn you about this... There is a posibility that using Gohan's sheild attack can crash servers. So just try to keep that to a minamem. And yes I am a bad speller

i can't shoot at all?????????????
i dont have a bar with the attacks on it please help everything else works
but it's no fun without shooting
and i've recently reinstalled everything before it didn't do anything??? now it works but without shooting?

Here's what you do to fire your shield:
Hold down primary fire to charge your shield for approximately 5 seconds, so it fully charges up. Then, continue holding primary fire, and then press + hold secondary fire. Your shield will fade away. Continue holding, and after a few seconds, you will fire a small considerably weak blast.
To prevent crashing:
Do not attempt to absorb a player's energy attack if:
1. The player has a considerably large power level advantage over you
2. Your ki bar is less than 50% full
3. The player has a larger power level than you, and is using one of his strongest attacks against you
The cause of the shield crashing servers:
Trying to absorb a blast that you cannot handle, ie. you do not have enough ki or it is too powerful.
