filesystem dll

I just downloaded 1.1 (not upgrade) and install it, after i install and click on it's icon 2 play it says "could not find filesystem dll to load" can any1 help me?, and can some1 help me get me the steam version of 1.1

thats a new one.... but i think i can help. in google. search 1.1.1.0 and youll get a list for patches for half life. down load it and install it into your half life folder. then go to www.esf-world.com and download the fmod.dll patch. it should do the trick. if that doesnt work uninstall everthing. install half life then the 1.1.1.0 patch. the the fmod.dll then esf. and it should be all better
