or its just for final fantasy series


im stuck in 2 minds wether its better or not, they kind of made the battle's into a free for all, as in 10 you could think things out

so whats youre opinions, and i havent brought the game(yet, might do) i just rented it

This is a game for everybody that does not know the true bliss of Final Fantasy 1-7. I finished playing the demo, dropped the controller and curled up into a ball on the floor. Not only did I lose intelligence by viewing this game but most of what little respect I had left for Square.

Not trying to be terribly negative here but I just feel, and I am sure I am not alone here, that Square has started to develop more for the general public than the fans.

Honestly. The formula for FFX-2 is this:

1-Everything Bad Out of FF8/FF9/FF10
2-A Lizzy McGuire Disney Movie
3-Charlie's Angels 2

And you've got Final Fantasy X-2.
It is a terrible game, not even worth renting.
I don't know what Square-Enix was smoking when they made this ABOMINATION of a game. I'd rather play the infinitely terrible Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, another Square-Enix "Abortion" of a good series.

i agree.. except theres nothing bad about ff9 ffx-2= japanese charlies angels, ffx-2 broke the ff rules. NO SEQUALES!

Hey FF Tactics was a great game I was addicted to it for about 3-4 weeks ask hibbers we would be going back and forth talking about it and FF X-2 is made for anyone who likes the FF style genre. Its an interesting approach they chose and you have to admit the different ending thing was pretty cool so far I only seen 2 and I've beat the game about 4x now since I got it when it first came out I was impressed with the game and quality and I can't wait for FFXII since its going to get back to the swords and middle earth times again.

I say it was made for both. I dont mind having Three chicks as the main
characters. And its not like its the first Final Fantasy to feature more than 3
girls beating the crap out of Evil. But aside from that its still Final Fantasy,
and I like the Free for All thing, the turns in previous FF games were just too
slow compared to this, you still get to think out your strategies and whatnot
but you have to react fast as soon as the battle starts.

I agree with you, Alea. I watched my friend play this game for 10 minutes and couldn't stand it. I was forced to smoke 10 cigarettes to cool myself down. Pile of **** game. No offense to any fans. But seriously, the game is ugh, crap?

yeah ffta kinda disappointed me, i didnt like the rules system, nor did i like the race system either. if they would have just ported the old fft to gba i would have liked it better.

but its alright i hear they r making a disgea advance called

FFTA sucked I hated how different races had diffent clases but FFT rules hands down. As for FFX-2 I bought it then sold it was a nice idea but Spira should not have been revisited that way.
