Evasive/Stunt Manuvering

How about giving a key that allows you to manuver side to side
or dive front to back? To evade an attack w/o whoring the teleportation
all the time. And consuming ki. I only use teleportation when im
having a really good melee battle with someone. But when someone
comes by and starts throwing beams/ki blast at me I gotta start
teleporting around or swooping side to side. which leaves my
character "Exhausted" and weak to resume my battle.

I was thinking of making the Crouch Key useful.
Holding down the crouch key while hitting the side step key's
left or right will allow your character to quickly dive to the side.
or make a small roll to the side. I remember krillin and gokou
pulled stuff like this off.

EDIT:

I've also noticed that I have been meleeing one person to the
other lately. So this is where my next idea kicks. If you melee
someone and that person flys into another character, both those
characters will fly backwards together. but who ever is facing the
wall first will be dealt double the wall damage since he has
someone else in front of him falling onto him.

Its already extremely easy to evade an attack. I dont know why everyone keeps on suggesting to make this game easier. its a conciderably easy game. Whats the fun if noobs can do just aswell at something that people that have been practicing for months can.

Yeah well.
Not everyone has fast reaction with high ping (I do). However.
It'd make it easier to outsmart your opponent by swooping
directly at him while hese getting ready to hit you with a beam
and when its coming at you, you dive to the side and then hit him while the beam is still in his hands or before he gets a chance
to detonate it.

I can evade it but sometimes it takes long and I waste key trying
to fly and pass by his body like 2-3 times untill he finally throws
the beam.

And besides. It'd give the game a better feel :p
I like seeing krillin roll out on the side of a beam in mid air and
what not.

That second idea is awesome, I would love to use the opposition as weapons to each other.

I agree that the dodging system is fine as it is now.

Your second idea is quality. Thats something that should defintely be added.

Dodging is fine as it is... people are hard enough to chase down when they're pounding the teleport and swoop button already. Giving them "diving" would really kind of cripple the swoop system, because there's really no way to counter somebody jerking off to the side.

As to the second thing: How often do you melee people into each other? I have only ever seen it happen once, and that was when someone meleed a corpse (it died when they hit it) onto my head. It was funny at the time, but knocking back team mates seems kind of pointless. The most damage it would do would be like 8 to 15, and that's only if someone two models magically connected. I don't think it's worth the time and energy.

The first time I did the melee thing, I laughed my ass off because he died from hitting the guy and the floor. I dont think I ever laughed that loud in any game.

yeah :yes: :) i like if more dodge/manouver things going to be added! like pressing a key. you fly back on your back :p so whit face on the enemy you are flying back. real fast. :| all stunts :p like in other mods.. whit all those stunts
