Its been a year back when we had a tournament. If some of you might remember the old website a little you can now check our new website instead.

http://www.esforces-league.com/

This new website looks better but is more powerfull then the old site we had from 1 year ago.
At the moment there are 2 open ladders for europe and america.
Feel free to join 1 of the ladders and play some good matches.
With every match you gain exp.
And when you gain exp you can play in higher leagues/ladders.
More will come later on.

Had a tournament? That's a little generous considering that the damn thing never finished. I don't see why this one would be any different.

True it did not get finished because people didnt look when they had a match.
As for this message its about a new page not a new tournament.
There are 2 active ladders for people who might want to battle just for the fun.
This is not a tournament sign up message.

I can't believe you're blaming the players. The blame falls entirely on you and your league for that tournament not finishing, not the participants. It was terrible communication and coordination.

If the tournament is ran like the last one, it will likely die again. I think someone told me the last one had ridiculous rules like certain players can only play at certain times.

I believe if you read the first post better then you would know this isnt a tournament call.
It has 2 active ladders for people who are intrested.
For ladders you sign up and schedule your own rules and match day + time.

So I dont fully understand your post what it has to do with my first message.

Well you didn't exactly explain the mechanics of how the league works, you kind of just said something about a powerful website, two ladders, and gaining exp with fights. If the "league" has silly rules like that last tournament, then it will likely die.

Well in ladder matches you challenge someone and will make your own rules what is normal to both players also can choose your own maps.
Reason from last tournament about your so called "Silly Rules" is that Europe and America dont apply with the same rules.
So we made a mix out of it. What isnt bad but since you people are not used to it its all silly to you.
We wanted for the tournament 1 year ago for all leagues the same rules.

As for a powerfull website you could see the features your self that is if you remember the old website.
Its just to many to name all of them what would be better. And sometimes better to show people it self.
At the moment its still dead some people made an account so they could play in a ladder right now if they wanted.
Personaly I dont think we get many people right now since ESF is on a low stock of players these days and we are kinda waiting for ESF Final.
Reason we make the site known to public is so they could make an account and test drive the ladders a little if they wanted to.
Hope things are more clear now.

Considering they were two separate tournaments, why didn't you use the American rules for the American tournament and the European rules for the European tournament? That way everyone would have been happy rather than no one.

Because we decided to mix it up so we have only 1 set of rules.
But for my part thats kinda history now since its 1 year ago.
Would be a good topic back then not at the moment.

Specialy that the ladders can provided by your own rules settings.
With each match the rules can be diffrent as you pleased.
As long both contenders agree with them then its all fine.

Its still not that clear. Is there an ELO system? Is it just rankings? Best ratio = higher in the rankings? If so, can't the top player just keep challenging the worst player? Will there be divisions? Points?
Here's an example of a league explanation:

We can make a choice between EXP points these points goes trough a setting system in de admins menu. There we can manualy based some points on losing and winning but also on that you enter a ladder or a team.
The other option is indeed the ELO System.

Yes there will be serval divisions called on the numbers of the dragonballs 1-7
1 Star is the beginners ladder. All new people will come here to play 1 season.
2 Star is the weakest ladder. All people with less skills will come there.
7 Star is the most strongest ladder where the elite players can be found.

Each ladder has a option to need acces points like in this case EXP points.
If a player/Team doesnt have the ammount of EXP points they cant join the ladder.

There is 1 ladder left the pro league ladder.
This ladder will not be opened untill ESF Final has been released.
This ladder is a pay to play ladder. The winner will also get money as prices if they win.
Also in these pro leagues we can add 2 a 3 divisions to it.
With each division theyre own prices.

Is it clear for you now?

I don't know that a pay to play framework is what your league really needs. Speaking for myself, I'd steer away from your league out of principle.

Have fun staring at empty ladders. How much of a cut do you plan on keeping? Not that anyone will actually pay to use your ladder or anything, just out of curiosity.

also what's to stop game fixing? If there's money involved, all 3 people interested will just tank and do fake matches just to have a payout that they are in on and then split the jackpot.
