Yes. It's because it's a model, not part of the map. Also it isn't spaced correctly; there is a fairly large gap between it and the ground.

Oh, forgot to mention that all the other buildings & the Saiyan pod are models as well, I love hiding kame torps there

there's no big reason to make them solid ...
they are models, because HL doesn't support so much details
same for big baseball (saiyan spaceship ) and trees

Yeah but STRYKER could have at least clip brushed it.
