Esf closing

Whenever starting a new game (server) it loads up goes to the select screen and when selecting a character , game suddenly freezes for 1 sec and exits
I don't think it has compatibility problems with vista because half-life and counter-strike run fine

Tried to select random instead of a character and here's the result

Looks like the game can't load all the models especially the characters
I just got the final release and i'm downloading the 30/9/2007 to test it
As i said i'm on vista but it shouldn't be a problem

I got the 30/9/2007 and works but textures are awful even if i'm on the best quality options
I'm starting to think it has compatibility probs. with vista.When I press 'E' game quits

use OpenGL rendermode, not software or Direct3D (video options)

Yeah I found it out testing the graphics setting.Anyway thanks.If I didn't try it out on myself I would have played with your help
