ESF BoB - ESF: Battle of (the) Best

According to the "ESF tournament 2011" thread I've got the idea of a tournament which repeats every month/quarter (still think about the time difference but I guess it depends on the number of subscribers) till 1.3 is done (maybe never for the public but who cares^^).
(Maybe we can also combine these ideas?)

Therefore I’ve started to create a tournament page and buyed a gameserver.

rules:
- just europe (sorry guys but a bad connection kind of sucks for all of us)
- fight till one person reaches 10 wins/loses
- no beams
- just simple melee
- map: esf_cell_games_night
- not more then 3 hits in a row
- no cheating of course
- by accepting a fight you have to fight no matter what happened otherwise you'll lose automatically after 15 min (disconnect, accept the date/time but fail to appear)

I'm not sure but perhaps Skyrider could add a special symbol or whatever to the account of the person who's the actual winner?!

It would be great to play with all of you! So what do you guys think? Everything fine?

FAQ

1. Why should I join the tournament?
- because we love ESF and it makes fun to play with others who also like it
- waste time till 1.3 is done
- still training and not losing your reaction-skills

2. How much does it cost?
- for you buddy, it's for free ;)

3. Do I have to join every tournament?
- nope, free choice, but you have to sign up once
- after your registration (username, pw, mail and steam-id) you can choose at which tournament you wanna subscribe

4. What is it for a gameserver?
- 4players.de-gameserver, mod: esf 1.2.3, clearly
- or we're allowed to use another server

5. Can I somehow help you (internet page, organisation)?
- sure, feel free to contact me: luke.a.cloud[at]googlemail.com

I think that's a great idea...it will help to keep ESF from collecting dust on many PC's. It's unfortunate, however that it is limited to Europe only. Regardless, I hope it works out!
