Error

Hey I get this error with nearly every game I try to install

An I/O error occurred while installing a file. This is normally
caused by bad installation media or a corrupt installation file

Anybody know what could cause this? It even told me this with brand new games I just bought

it could be the cable or the drive or some dirt on the cd or dirt on the cd drives lens.

How would I clean it?

Buy a cd laser lens cleaner but its not guaranteed that dirty cd-rom drive lens is the problem. Any music store should stock them for a few dollars.

Oh yes and I forgot to point out that it says that about stuff that I download to. (Primarily anygame including esf) because of this error I havent been able to play esf 1.2 =(
