While you can have your doubts, remember than no appreicable amount of pressure would bring fruit of the alliances forged in the first game. Many of these people would only work together under the most dire of circumstances. The Rachni wouldn't last long against an all out Krogan invasion, despite the Krogan's weakened state, thus they wouldn't have dared shown their face, or a direct route to their hiding spots. While I agree that Mass Effect 2 was light on consequences, it HAD to be because of the plot. Therefore, I'm giving it a chance before I play it. Consequences for actions within Mass Effect 2 were pretty big, I can see them setting that up in ME3.To be fair, they had the same intentions in ME2 and I was a little underwhelmed by how little my decisions from the first game mattered.
If they can make the decisions you made in ME2 have meaningful repercussions in ME3, all the better. But I have my doubts.
