the one against vegeta was small, because he was weak

There's just one problem. That spirit bomb would have been a lot bigger if most of its energy wasn't knocked out of Goku in the first place. It was kind of a different form of Spirit Bomb, but it started off just like the other one, and the only thing that made it that small was Goku getting the SB knocked out of him. Whatever... knitpicking. If the team wants a smaller spirit bomb then good for them.

Spirit bombs have this great way of just not working in big fights. Between the movies and the series, weren't there like 3 or 4 spirit bombs that failed because Goku got smacked before he could fire them? I know the one he tried to use against Vegeta exploded onto him, and I think something like that happened in Tree of Might. Where else?

I don't see what the point of the earth like spirit bomb is. Seems to me like they needed another move for goku but were a little bit lazy to think of a better one than Earth SB, if you want a small sb then don't charge it all the way, common sense.

I think the earth spirit bomb will allow you to move around with the ball in your hand.Of course I could be wrong and it could be just like that one thing where you could just charge it up slower.

Its a stupid idea they invented. There is no difference in the SB for which planet your on. Only its strength pends on it. The irony here is that the spiritbomb_charge file ESF uses currently is that of Earth's SB. So I dont know what kind of differencer they intend to make. Shorter charging time? So? You can do that with the current SB just charge it to its minimum and toss.
