Dusttrails

I'm not quite sure where to put this thread so i'll try here

well i was wondering what happened to the dusttrails. Is there a way to enable them by cvars or have they been completely removed?

They were taken out because they dropped FPS down so much. the cvar is still there, but it doesn't work.

man that's just too bad isn't there a way to get dustrails working without any framedrop?

theres ways, but these are no preffesinal game makers here, this isnt bungie... just some guys who like to make this game.
