Wow, i have seen something soooo similar on this before, just dont let SSJRene in on this thread, he will tear you guys to shreds for not finding a good place to transform 
But seriously, if you want to transform, find i hiding place dammit, like under a bridge or in a crevace. If its one on one ask the guy if you can transform, its not that hard. I have never had a problem transforming, even on a full server. If people hit me with melee or beams i just get up and kick the crap outa them till they die, then i try hide away and transform. One thing i DO think they should do about invulnerablility is make you invincible for 5 seconds when you spawn, i can't count the number of times i have spawned, and within 1 second a giant kamehameha wave hits the ground and i get vapourised. That is more annoying than getting hit while transforming, by FAR!
