i thought, what it would be good to have duel (one on one fight) mode in esf.
F.ex.:

In server there are 8 people
Like in show, they fight one on one. Wins that, which kills his opponent, or makes him surrender. If they touch'es the land outside arena, they loose. Then all 4 duels have ended, the 4 left players fight's each other again. After this - the final - 2 strongest enemies fights each other, and that, which wins, gains 1.000.000 power.

Ahhh, one more idea

It would be good, what ESF writes your pl into file, so, every time you connect to server, you start with powerlevel, wich you had last time. Its like "Continue last game" .

What you've described is the widely suggested Tournament Mode.

And i'd read the sticky regarding saving PL, or read <a href="http://forum.esforces.com/showthread.php?t=48748">my thread</a> which is basically the same idea.

It won't be good if you join a new server and you already got PL. Imagine, people can just open up the file and edit so next time they start with 1,000,000,000,000,000 PL whenver they join a server. Or just keep playing alone until PL reaches 1,000,000,000,000,000. Would be really unfair. This PL save have been suggested before to only be used temporary when the host changes the map so whenever the map changes in the server, you get the PL you have. But I still don't think that is good idea. Those people who just joined the server will suffer greatly.

Ehm, yes, i know it's suggested. I found it out about ten minutes after posting this suggest.
By the way, i didn't wanted to post that, what i posted.
I wanted to say... something different, but i dont know, how to say this.
Its about beam-fighting. You can move, but in very small range, if go out of it, you loose. Everyone, which duels, has equal pl, and they can fight only with beams.

And about pl saving, its many opertunities to prevent editing the file. One of them: ESF has they own server, so, maybie, the pl for different nick's could be written to mysql datebase.
