Setup:
AMD Athlon 2600+ XP
Radeon HIS 9500pro 128mb
Audigy Soundblaster SE
MSI KT4V
Kingmax 400DDR RAM
Driver Versions:
ATI Catalyst 3.4
Audigy SB 5.12.1.383
Latest Half Life
Windows XP Pro SP1
Ok, as you prolly know the Audigy Taskbar allows you to change the settings of the mixer to differ the output of the sound (eg. Heavy Metal, Classical Etc.)
After running ESF 1.1, I found that there was no sound at all in game. So i restarted computer to see if it was just an error, and found that there was no sound at all. If i changed the mixer back to "No Effects" they worked fine. So if i had them on any settings (I usually have it on Heavy Metal
) no sound. I reinstalled the drivers and everything is back to normal. So I try to run ESF again, and once again it does something to the drivers to make them incorrectly work.
If im the only one having this problem then its prolly my setup but if anyone else is having it then its a bug for u guys to sort out
