Honestly, I HOPE they do things like this. It'd bring something new to the Tenkaichi games. When it comes to Tenkaichi, if they are going to churn out games with the same gameplay, same concept, but with prettier graphics, I am not buying it. Perhaps not even a rental.

But if they made up stuff like Super Saiyan 4 Gotenks, Spirit Bomb-Kamehameha, etc., I would most definitely play it, even it sounds like the god-awful Dragonball AF.

How many times can you retell the DBZ story with the same type of repetitive gameplay? I wish they would go outside the box like Sagas did. While it was poorly executed...POORLY. I welcome an open world/sandbox DBZ game with open arms. Look at Red Faction. If a guy can use a hammer and fire arms to tear down complex buildings, why can't I knock a Saiyan through simple sky scrappers? And Tenkaichi's destruction goes unnoticed because you are always focused on the opponent. You don't really get a chance to admire the destruction or immerse yourself in the battle field because of the stiff gameplay.

This is why I think ESF is legitimately one of the best DBZ games out there when it comes to controlling the characters and capturing the feel of the show.
