And so Valve brings us Dota 2. The trailer looks pretty good so far. The game looks like its going to be as great as the previous one.

Athene, The Best Paladin in the world and Swifty, the Beast of Arenas. Razer is trying to make a godly team for WoW Arenas or something.

For some reason i still dont see ANY reason for a second glance. From what ive seen so far its not really that special just as (and im going to generate a lot of hate towards me for this) starcraft 2. As an RTS Starcraft 2 fails badly.

Now im happy some person is getting his dream come true but can someone tell me what exactly is so good on such a mediocre game formula where all your tactics are based on weather my unit can counter the opponents unit and if i can have good enough reflexes to produce it? I mean come on thats not even strategy, thats just playing with luck and calling it strategy.

Grega, no amount of my explaining will make you play it, really, your mind is already set, just like for many many others. All you CAN do if you really want to know why this game is wonderful, and is more about tactics and skill instead of "reflexes", is to try http://www.leagueoflegends.com/ when you get the time.

And ofcourse, like with every game luck is involved, but not in gameplay. These games are very team based, so your luck would involve what kind of team mates you get, and the experience level of your opponents. Ofcourse after playing matches you will find some really good players, so adding them as friends and playing with them will lead to the best gaming experiences.

Your second sentence undermines millions of people you play these games and love them for how rewarding they are, especially those professional gamers who are currently playing for 1 Million Dollars.
