Got it today and wow, love it, lol, prolly cause im such a die hard doom fan. Post on what you think of it.

I'll probably get it, Doom 3 was alright it's just half way through it gets really, really boring :X

I'll get it when I have enough money. Unfortunately there are a lot of games on my list so I'll probably not get it for a while. It looks good though, and I enjoyed Doom 3 so I'll definitely get it at some point.

well i just beat it *7 hours* i have to say, its alot harder, specially on one part, wow, lol. I just wish it was little bit longer then that.

Well, I guess I lied. I couldn't stop myself buying it
I'm on the third level I think, and loving it so far. Throwing fireballs back at imps is so cool. Can't wait to get the double barrel shotgun though!

Quoted for truth , all you do is kill a dozen or so monsters , walk into the next room and get supplies

plus , it's all about graphics to them , they didn't add many new game play features , ther'e losing the plot for doom , i hope quake4 will be better then all the other quake releases , i look forward to quake 4 , doom3 is better left in the scrap heap

Seven hours? What a joke. Dont you just feel so satisfied after beating a game in mere hours? Something that takes only 7 hours had better have some insane features, not in any other game, for it to be worth the money. But, come on, its DOOM. The series practically invented the 'generic shooter' genre.

It was a very good expansion pack, I believe. The end boss really brought back the true doom "Super-OMG-WTF-HAX" end boss feel and was pretty hard to beat.

doom really did invent the "omg its a shooter without a story" thing, and as for 7 hours, i beat MGS3 in less than that. go figure >_> hl2 took about 8 hours, and in fact, the only game thats taking me a while lately, is DMC3.

ill get this, cos it has the double barrel

I'd say it's worth buying if you enjoyed Doom 3. I've not completed it yet, but the seven hours long thing isn't really putting me off. A lot of my favourite games are very short in play time anyway so I'm somewhat used to it. My only gripe so far, is that my performance is sometimes significantly lower than in Doom 3 which can be pretty annoying, but I guess that's my fault for having a crappy graphics card.
