Does anyone know how to turn a windows movie maker file into a windows media player acceptable format?

there should be an option somewhere that says one of afew things

1. Save video file as

2. export video file

3. encode video file

*tip* Get adobe premire

That doesn't really help because when I go into save as then on the bar that says what type of file, there's only one option which is movie maker format.
