Direct X and ESF

I was happily playing ESF...Then I quit cause I got an IM. After the IM I clicked on my HL.exe but...it said Direct X version 6 or higher required...

I have direct X 8.1 so I dont know what that ment but I fixed it by restarting my cpu. It works again, so I'm happy.

...the same problem!
I think its something withe your graphic/video(dont know how to call it in english!) card!
My mate has a too bad video/ graphic card and this problem appeared!

Okay..legit reason.

But..it's a pretty obscure bug that the ESF team probably Won't be able to fix...sounds like a problem with Half-Life..not ESF.

If resetting fixes it..then there ya go!
