He wasn't the end boss of the whole game, though. In fact that's like...3/5 through, isn't it?
I dont remember much, I stopped playing the game after I unlocked everything, but im pretty sure that is the end game boss fight. I cant seem to remember a boss later than that... OH WAIT A MINUTE, yeah I remember now, the boss is that guy who is covered in Fire. Woops 
Yeah, the DMC3 trailer is awesome, probably the best trailer to come out of E3. Infact it was so good it inspired me to go and repurchase DMC1 and 2.
After playing DMC1 and 2 back to back I've got to go with DMC2 as my favourite. With all the added ways of beating your enemies it adds it's pretty difficult to go back to playing DMC1, especially with it's limited evasive system.

The final boss in DMC2 is when you go to hell, and its a HUGE "blob" that can shoot stuff at you, summon the ground to hit you, weird stuff. Anyways yeah DMC3 looks shweet but I heard someone say gameplay video and I cant find thaaaaaaaaaaaat
The final boss in DMC2 is that fire man/woman demon thing, "the despair embodied" it's called.

In DMC1 the Legendary Dark Knight Sparda WAS Dante's Dad, you need to get an "S" ranking on every level. Took me god-damned forever but I unlocked him. He's pretty sweet with the katana and his devil trigger is *****in cool. I never beat the game with him though, so I'm still wondering what the last fight is like since you have the Sparda Devil Trigger right off the bat. DMC3 looks to be the best yet, it'll be nice to see what the hell happened to Virgil and Dante's Mother. I wonder if we'll find out what REALLY happened to Sparda, since all that is known so far is that he defeated Mudus in Hell and then came to this world and got married. The story behind Dante's/Virgil's amulet could be quite interesting. I wonder if they'll show where the Force Edge came from, you know, the sword Dante starts with in DMC1. All it says is it was a memento of his father, then you get Virgil's half of the amulet and BAM instant Sparda Sword. I can't wait for this game, DMC2 was good, but not great. alothough it did make up for the not to good parts with that sweet sweet ending sequence. My god, it made up for the whole game in the last 2 minutes... The guy doing all the cutscenes and combat design has done some sweet kung-fu type movies like "The Returner". lame ass movie, but decent action. He also did the MetalgearSolid: The Twin Snakes game cutscenes too. This game could be the one to define the genre, just like DMC1 did back in the day. I wonder if Griffin will make an appearance like Phantom did in DMC2?
