Deadpool

I've been having a blast with the game. It may not have the greatest mechanics in the hack and slash genre (especially for pc), but the sheer personality of the game totally makes up for it. But I've always loved Deadpool so I may be biased.

Anyone else get it and want to share opinion and rhetoric on why poop and **** jokes never get old when it comes to Deadpool?

The game is alright, but it's missing the point of Deadpool. Mainly the story, which shines when he is put in a serious situation while his silly factor kicks in.

Just finished it last night. It was quite awesome! I actually laughed at some of the jokes hah. The audio samples were plentiful and didn't feel that repetitive so that was cool. I can't help but feel it was based on the Wolverine Origins game engine and mechanics by the way he visually regenerates which is an awesome game (I would love to see a Terminator game based on that engine).

I really, really like how they made what normally would be the tedious parts in some games fun. For eg. towards the end when he does the 20 mins earlier thing, I thought it was going to send me off some errand action-filler quest but it didn't. Because he is so insane the game easily keeps you entertained with wacky stuff. I also really like the whole 4th wall aspect which works really well with his personality. One thing I really hate is that corpses fade away which is stupid really. I would of loved to admire my "artwork" after a brutal killing session.

Character-wise, he's a shadow of his former self. Gameplay-wise, it's pretty terrible. Story? Almost non-existent. Jokes? The kind of stupid internet shit you see on reddit or 4 ****. In capable hands, he's a great character. Not so much in this game.
