hmmmm from some of those vids it looks like there are still quite a few beam loopholes in this version too... against the computer its okay, but when you've almost beaten your friend they look for one of the many things they can just beam u for and they win.

Well the game will be relentless because some of the fights in dbz were relentless, so i have no problems with the beams the way they are, also it seems teleporting was made easier, hell you can even do it on the ground now as seen in some of the videos.

Should be loads more fun then T1 was.

Looks like they got it way close to being like the show. I love how you can teleport anytime. Also, they got rid of the bubble moves, I think. The bubble moves are the ones that took a ball or 2 and you had to use the up+circle to pull it off.

You can call it relentless I suppose, i think its a bit unjustified that you can be a lot better than your opponent and lose because you get beamed for doing a regular fighting manuver such as deflect a ki blast mid battle and cant do **** to avoid the beam. I used to just stick to melee though in T1, in T2 looks like the beams are a tad more flowing into the fight so Im gonna try to incorperate them more.

and no they didnt kidboy, now its just a number in the hud.

Well there is a guy on the gamespot forums claiming he beat the game to 85% in 17 hours but he also gave away his play style, BEAM SPAM!

He said to beat fat janemba he had to spam kameha or he would of got crushed.

The only useful and good information assuming it is real is this.

Wow! 10X Kamehameha is red, giant, and has giant lightning around it, so far it's the best looking attack i've seen ingame

Beams are not that hard to avoid I think, you got turbo dash, you got teleporting, you got blocking not to mention you can counter with a beam of your own.
Unless the player is a freaking beam spammer it's his fault =x lol

And the story mode is definatly longer then BT1, it's mixed with elements from Budokai 1 and 3 making it more complete and fun =D not to mention we get battles that we didnt even think of like fighting Raditz for the first time with Piccolo, or with Goku on Roshi's island.

Cant wait to play the story mode I'll tell you that =]

I didnt mean that they're hard to avoid, they were easy to avoid in T1, what i ment was there looks like times where you cant do anything, like when somebody lands the trip up kick or when you deflect a ki blast or the end of explosive wave etc, there is no method of avoiding the beam, its a garenteed hit.

Actually when you are tripped up they have to step back to beam, and with most the beams being real time now, unless they are charged the dmg is slim.

Not to mention now all you do is tap O alot and you regain your footing, so no worries im sure.

5v5 battle, watching the tag icon at the top when it blinks i think they can do tag moves dunno tho, gotta wait for the game.

I played T1 again today and I remembered how ****ty the teleporting system works in that game. Is it easier to dodge attacks with Teleports in T2? And is it easy to Teleport where you want to go when you kick your enemy around?

I hope so, even as an alternate costume, cuz thats when he looked the coolest, I wish some one would make a model of it for esf, and I mean likea good one, like Ned and Elements trunks.

Yep, teleport avoiding is easier then in T1 as far as I can feel and it's cool.
The ping pong teleporting is easy too, you basically send your opponent then press triangle to teleport right to where he flys and you automatically slam him.
When in sparking mode you get to do more then one teleport counters, like chasing and teleporting alone can reach 6 or 7 hits =]
There are another 2 teleporting combos it's just hard to explane so I might make a video of it.
But other then that it aint difficult

I've been wondering that myself, I guess I'll find out soon, going through the story mode now.

It's the Jap version, I think in Japanese all his voices are the same so it wont do any good.

Only cool outfit for Trunks that I've seen was without jacket, but that goes only for the Trunks with the sword, look awesome non the less, once I get his Super Saiyan form I'll make a video of him against Androids 17 and 18.

And I have to say Bardock kicks ass, he's so awesome, he's got a badass unique attacks as well.
