I like fighting games, this game is a great game, I hate the Show its a terrible show compared to Mononokee Hyme, Trigun, Slayers, Lain, Etc all of those animes are better then DBZ and hundreds more, DBZ was good when I was 10-11

I hate Harry Potter. Do I get Harry Potter games because their adventure and ignore the fact that I hate Harry Potter? No. I can't stand him. It's so childish, and stupid. I would never go out and buy the game because I like adventure games, because it's Harry Potter. Now, given that ESF and Harry Potter are a bit different, I don't even like DOD because I hate history, and DOD has the history elements.

BTW, WAS is Xander that mentioned DBZ? I can see him liking it.

Actually I hate disney but Kingdom Hearts is a great, your logic makes no sense you odn't buy games because you hate hat its based on? So if ESF was related to Harry Potter not DBZ, You'd hate it even though you love it right now. Kinda lame, anyways I suggest getting back on topic before some mean admin coems and hurts us.

Why would you play a game that you dont like the story? Pictures are all that make up a game. So of course if Goku was Harry Potter and when he did a kameahmeah he flicked his wand of course I wouldnt play it, why would u?

You people that play ESF and dont like DBZ make no sense no matter what you say, I dont care if you like the action, you still make no sense. If you play a game just for the gameplay then there are hundreds of fast paced games just like ESF.

I used to watch Buffy when I was 9 and it wouldnt suprise me to see Xander mention something like that, although it somehow seems quiet suprising.

Some people look at DBZ and go "great concept and fighting but the plot and dialogue and stuff makes me wanna vomit which is why I never watch it and all in all hate it. But it would make a fun game because of that fighting." There do you understand them now? Some people are just like that.

Its possible that someone hates Harry Potter but loves magic and stuff so they'd buy the Harry Potter game. Although there's a huge difference between the magic of Harry Potter being a seperate aspect to the plot, as the fighting is to DBZ. Which makes this a crappy analogy

He's right. Frankly I find dragonball Z a very childish show myself, but I still watch it. I couldn't stand watching the series straight through again though, because I can't stand the 200 something episodes of terrible dialog and stale animation. If I had to play a dragonball Z game which was accurate to the show, where the fighting only encompoused about a sixth of the game, I would hate it. I think a lot of people would. What DBZ games do is take the best parts of DBZ and let you pretend to role play them. I hate the dialog, but I like the fights, so I play the game.

I like the DBZ story, the only problem I feel which could make you think its a bad show besides "its not your type or show" is similar to what Sonic had just said. They could have squashed all 4 Sagas into prolly 160 episodes instead of 275. It goes a little too slow.

Not to mention how stupid even the fighting is once in a while. Movie 8 is one good example of DBZ gone wrong. Everybody has been beaten by Brolli, and they are all about to die. What do they do? Trunks, Gohan, Vegeta, and Picollo give their powers to Goku and he defeats Brolli in one punch. What the hell is that? Giving him their power is like fusion but cheaper, and only once punch? What a cop out. It's like how Gohan became mystic. He didn't even have to work for it and he became more powerful than his dad. Dying doesn't even mean anything to anybody either since they've always got dragonballs around, so what is the point of crying over a dead character?
