i was wondering if the names in dbz were names in english too

for example in yuyu hakusho

hiei = vincent

so what do the dbz names mean in english if they mean anythign anyways

As far as I can tell, the names mean stupid things like "sticker" and "noodles." You can go look it up at a site pretty easily I think.

yeah, saiyan names are based on vegetables (vegeta = vegetable, kakarot = carrot)

Ginyu = milk so the whole Ginyu force is based on milk products and the such...

all the saiyjins are vegis all the ginyu is dairy the spice boys and garlic are obviously spices, then theres bloomers dr.briefs trunks bra and chichi....um....theres the cold family...bibidi babidi buu (disney fever!)krillin and maron both mean chesnut....goku gohan and pan are all rice and obviously a pan.....mr satan is obviously the devil and videl is devil mixed up, yamucha tien and chioutzu mean tea...there ya go
