It's weird how America starts school so late. In Australia the beginning of the school year is the beginning of the actual year. Then we have 2-3 weeks break after every term. I think that's better apart from having the 3 months of summer off school.

I start second year university this fall, and my first day of class is September 13, I've also been finished my first year since April 27th. I can't wait to go back, first year was a blast.

Yea OP im sure it was a blast but this time remember to study a bit more then party .
I got another month for school to start can't wait like GFK said it has it plus sides.

I too really hate kids who complain about school. It's not so bad and looking back afterward, high school has the potential to be the best time of one's life, if worked right.

school is history for me atm, i just have to get trouw the exame(the school is a bit to late :\ ) and then it's all done.
now i just have to work.
btw, did you know that you get more free time when on school then you work, if you're complaning about school then you have to be a whole lot harder to atleast get some work and keap it.
beleve me, i already work 3 years now and have hardly free time while the schools are closed.(1 day school and 4 day's work^_^)

Aw come on, you guys are now telling you LOVE school!? sheesh i rather had some kind of computer that could give me all the knowledge within a day and get it over with.

Ofcourse its important, but that doesnt mean you have to like it.

I graduated from High School this year, and I start going to College this September. I think its going to be a blast, I loved most of my High School years (Grades 11 and 12 anyway), and College is my first chance to study exactly what I want to study. I was one of the "computer nerds" at my school, earning myself an Excellence award, and now I get to be surrounded by computers for the next two years learning even more about them.

Sounds like fun to me.

you lot forget the social experience of school. You make a lot of good friends there, I did and I know a lot of other people did.
I wouldn't ever want to drop out of school, I gained so much from it
Currently in the hols, don't go back til the 20th september (!) but I havn't had a holiday as I've been working full time at work ever since. (50hr weeks )
