Custom.hp2 - Whaaaat?!

Alright I have been playing Half-Life & it's mods since about a month after it came out. I have learned sooooooo much about it, how to script, map, model (Not good at it), and I learned almost everything about the commands and files. But never before have I seen a Custom.hp2 file. I know about Custom.hpk but wtf is with .hp2? I just got it today after I closed my server i noticed it there. Is it like a backup of Custom.hpk or something?

Maybe u downloaded it from the server cuz of that stupid ph34r virus thing, which if im not right, ure clan made!!

I don't join other servers & I am responsible for the "VIRUS" (NOTE TO N00bs: Not a REAL Virus, But It Acts Like One).

I gave all my clan members the files back during v1.1 of DMZ so it would be fun with new models n stuff until v1.7b was released, BUT I forgot to lock the damn server (Yeah, I Know, Very Stupid). I left the server up for an hour while I went to a doctor appointment and when I came back I noticed people were D/Ling so I shutdown the server and made sure to lock it when I ran it again. I forgot I had my res files set so my clan members would download them cuz sometimes they hosted clan-only servers so I went and made a res fix and posted it in the DMZ forums and I also told people how to remove the rest manually but I guess I was to late or something because I got banned from the DMZ Forums, they wanted a 5000 word essay + a small apology from me, someone who was a friend of the DMZ Team got them to reduce it to a 1000 Word Essay + A Small Apology, I never did it because I'm lazy and their forums were dieing out anyways. I felt bad about being so dumb but oh well, It's something I can't forget because almost everywhere I am (Online) someone always asks me about the "virus" (Mostly n00bs who think it's a REAL virus) or I get flamed, etc...

There are some people who understand but there are few, but I guess that's what I get.


NOTE:

I DID NOT Spread The "Virus" Over To ESF. That Was Probably Some n00b Who Copied Their DMZ Res Files And Put THem In THeir ESF Maps Folder. I Fixed My Res Files When I Remembered About The Loop They Would Create (The Day I Made The Fix)

Thx for clarifying that man!! I was kinda curious as to why it was originally made!!

BTW, why dont u post a link or somethin to the fix!! It would be useful, unless it just deletes the file!!

Well I haven't made one for ESF. And it doesn't delete the models, it prevents you from spreading the files and from getting the bad res files.

If you wanna remove the 2 invis models (I Dunno why u would wanna remove the other models like SSJ3Goku) just go into ESForces/models/player OR DragonModZ/models/player and look for a folder that is a buncha letters and a few numbers, copy another model (.mdl) from another folder (Like Cell.mdl) and paste it into each invis model folder, then rename the cell.mdl in ur invis model folders to the name of the invis model then delete the invis model. So you wont d/l the model and if people try to use it you will see them as Cell.
