crashing problem

well, when i put Open GL mode on, HL crashes, when i put software mode on, esf crashes :cry:

Then use Direct3D, or does the game crash then too?

*Make sure you have updated drivers for your graphics card.
*Make sure you are running your video mode on a stable resolution.
*Try toggling with vsync on/off if your graphics card supports this.
