Hey is anybody here a player of the Half Life Mod Counter Strike? I don't know if you guys follow on it but the new update 1.6 will have new weapons and the Sweet looking riot shield. Just saying this for anybody who is a CS player.....

No CS used to be good. USED TO BE.
Untill VALVe ****ed it all up. I HATE YOU VALVE DIE...
And you can stick this netcode up your @$$. I hope they
read this... Anyway. I still find myself playing it like 3x every month

I kinda gave up when all my clan buddies just left. Basically it was
around beta 6.0+

My fav hl mod besides esf is frontline force, I got nothing against cs and don't know why you two hate it so much.

Here are my Reasons:

1.)People are so ****ing naive and big hypocrites.
They think they all got skills. But how the **** do they even know
what skill is? I had newbs who had just purchased retail version
own ME. A person who has been playing since its 2nd patch. Worthy
of skill and easily gone down the Drain all because of Point 2:

2.) HEADSHOTS, How the hell do you claim to acctually AIM at
the head from a far without using a rifle that scopes in and get
a headshot then claim it was all skill? Have people taken a look at
the headshot hitboxes in CS? The hotbox to the head is just as
big as the Chest/Stomache hitbox anyone can get a headshot
from a far and claim to be skill when its all luck. Leading me to
Point #3:

3.) Accuracy...
I thought the accuracy goes haywire if you run with it?
And people still get headshots while jumping with an AK47.
The only gun that doesn't lose accuracy at all is the Super M3
Shotty and thats how I easily kill everyone with high ping these
days. I call the Super M3 the Super 300MS shotty. Cause its ment
for ppl with high ping. Its so accurate you can practically snipe with
the shotgun. And point 4:

4.) People only buy whore weapons:
M4
Aug
MP5
AK47
AWP
SG 552

I remember back in the days people use all guns from TMP
to FN P90(I still use it), and even glock was useful as hell with
its burst fire but now they made it more useless with burst fire
so the only way its useful is by glock sniping someone with its
sharp semi auto fire.

Here's what i think, of all the mods i've played, remember just my opinion.
From best to worst mod

NS
TFC
ESF (sorry, it hurts to put it third, but IMO it goes here.)
DMZ
....anything else i've played that i forgot....
CS

I agree with Hibiki, NS has alot of team play, alot to where hopefully ESF will have alot too someday.

TFC was the first i played and..actually it should be 1 on the list.

ESF is great, but its only at beta1, i bet it will be 2 or 1 on my list when its finished completely.

DMZ..... i dunno...but i don't hate it AS much as DMZ, maybe i don't like it cause of the combos, or cause i've never played it online...

.....anything else......yeah...

CS, alright i've got good reason to put it on my list i think... heres my FIRST TIME PLAYING IT..

I enter server
I'm killed at the start
Wait for next game.
Buy my weapon
Constantly called n00b because i'm first to die
Admin tells me that i suck
"kicked from server"

......................:S yeah.... it was kinda like that the other 5 times i've played....

I like cs as a game, but i dont play it since of the huge amonut of cheating on it and also getting called a cheat for killing people, but the worst thing is the childish fanbase it has, just look on there forum too see them:S

Cs quote: "Are you a girl? I dont fight girls"

Cs quote..: "stop useing the ****ing sniper rifes lame ass"

Cs quotes in genral "cheater" "hacker" "you suck" "i pwn j00"

um lets see u say an mp5 is whore weapon i dont see how considering its weak as hell.

and the other guns u have named r the only guns with any power.

m4 and ak are for long distance plus they r very accurate, hardly whore weapons

sig and aug r for people who need a little bit more help "aiming" once again not a whore weapon.

awp is a whore weapon.

now u have mentioned all the guns that r worth using but im suprised u forgot the para because right now the para is the most accuarte gun of them all. as long as u burst para is one of the best sniping guns.

there r many things wrong wit the cs at the moment but when u say people use whore weapons what u really mean is, u r just not skilled enough to play against people who can use m4,ak, and the above guns u mentioned.

my favorite was 1.1 the hit box was small the navy could actually compete with an m4, and there was acual skill involved in the game.


and someone saying cs is the worst mod ever for hl is disputable cause id rather play cs then esf



one more side note p90 is a newbish gun, i love the p90 but i mean common it has 50 bullets a round all u have to o is spray at the height of the head and u r guarented a head shot.

CS was fun
in the old days, where maps like cs tire where played, adn teh noobs didnt play the game as much, back in the old days, when as soon as u could a forrowd it, the hole other team would have AWPs

there nuttin wrong with the Sig or the Aug, u have to have skill to use those, vs awps, and f'ing Ak

but know it sucks. so i know say that HL is dieing Very fast, and there is no new good game to replace it, damn times are goin g to be tuff for a gamer, in a year or so, i guess will will all have to get lives

i agree BUT you cannot say that its the worst hl mode....
its played more then all the other mods combined :/

oh yeah...the old cs days!!!
That was fun...I can still remember how exited I was when I read that there would gonna be vehicles included in 7.1(?).
Altough there had been too many bugs like stucking in walls, it WAS fun to play...
