why dont you implement some things from 1.1 andput them into 1.2?
I just played 1.1 and im sayin that 1.1 has great physics than 1.2 but 1.2 is less buggier. Thoughts? concerns?

I'm not sure what your trying to say... 1.2 is an upgrade from 1.1, so therefore pretty much everything that was in 1.1 is in 1.2. Could you be a little more specific about exactly what you're talking about?

i think he wants the swooshy melee thing back, but its already in 1.2... so thats defeats the idea ;|

I like the freeroaming swooping, but it needs to be much more responsive, maybe have automatic (1-tap) swooping when the aura is on and be able to teleport mid-swoop without having to stop swooping (no matter how briefly)

To my knowledge, v1.1 had more visual effects that were deemed unnecessary, like dust or water trails when swooping over land and sea respectivley.

i liked the cool visuals in 1.1 they didnt lag the game at all and it makes more sense that that would happen

You have to explain yourself better. I liked the physics in 1.1 better then in 1.2 too, but you should really say what exactly was better.

There is no way 1.1 is better than 1.2. Rubbish.

1.2 got advance melee
1.2 got nice explosion image
1.2 got at least better turbo aura that doesn't look like ice-cream cone
1.2 fully support steam
1.2 got better detailed graphics

alright heres what i mean:

The physics in 1.1 are great and some of the animations were better then 1.2's animations and physics.

When i say physics i mean things like instead of stopping right in the air you glide down and the walking and running were great as well. Some maps are very good as well so maybe you could fix some up and put them in 1.3 and the Explosins looked better before than now

1.2 has got these explosions where you can't determine the blast radius
1.2 has no custom auras, your stuck with the default
1.1 worked fine with steam :scared:
1.2 has detailed textures which kill your fps..

There are two sides to every story..

yeah 1.1 kicked ass not only was there NO advanced melee BUT there was no noobs COMPLAINING ABOUT basic melee

1.1 crashed when you used disks and gohans shield (when a large beam hit it)
and dont forget it was an older version so the team must have had some motives to chage the melee system

but to not steer off topic too much i like the physics in this version alot more than 1.1 hit them once and they fly away into a distant corner unless you manage to catch up with them first....but remember the melee system is being redone in 1.3 so just wait and see what they come up with...

1.2 has no custom auras, your stuck with the default
Lies! I'm using a custom Aura, you just have to increase the size of any 1.1 aura by 4x in every dimension (use HLMV), then make a copy of it and rename it Aurabend, and then replace the existing Aura and Aurabend models with them.
