WWhy i cant connect to a server?

it means u dont have the right verson, the newest verson is Beta 1

its not about the ESF files,its HL

Update your HL or CS to the latest version.

ok i cant connect to any serverz period it alwayz tell me that it couldnt complete the connection and i have everything updated so that cant be it can anyone help?

Are you 130% sure you have the hl1.1.1.0 patch? Most of the time that is the problem or the ESF that you downloaded had a corrupt file ;/ If you have all that it really has no reason not to work.. Another thing to try is kicking your computer tower a few times screaming "Work you communist *******" That always works for me... If all else fails throw computer out window...

i am sure i have every thing i ve got hl1.1.1.0 ive got tha beta and i dont think there is a corrupt file cuz very thing else workz fine and i havent had any other prooblemz except not being able to join a server
