Computer Speaker Problem

Well every few seconds i hear this quick ZIP sound, im using 5.1 digital speakers (6 peice set) and sometimes theres a staticy sound anyone know how i could fix this? and yes i have the latest drivers for my onboard sound (i have a Asus A7N8X Deluxe with dolby 5.1 onboard sound)

could be static interference - try moving your speakers away from your monitor.
Whenever I use my mobile phone, it makes wierd sounds with my speakers, so im guessing the same applies to you.
