info says it all

intel

pentium 4 cpu 2.40 ghz
2.92 ghz

512 mb ram

If i overclock to 3.0ghz it is unstable.

I tested this and it seems stable but i dont want next week to have no computer

i DONT want it at 2.4. But do you think 2.92 is safe if i keep it cool?

Or should i put it down to 2.80

Do not overclock unless you know EXACTLY what you are doing. Make one mistake and your whole computer gets fried.

I'd suggest getting a water cooling kit before overclocking at all.

Just take it a little at a time and test test test with those settings. Make sure you have good air flow with a great CPU heatsink and fan.

Use liquid nitrogen, then you can overclock it to about 3.5 - 4.0 GHZ :D ;D .

Meh i would just leave it at 2.8, or 2.7 GHZ.
