when i try connecting to a server i get an error msg saying the server has a newer clint.dll file. hjow do i fix that?

Sounds like you don't have an updated version of the game. Make sure you have beta 1.1 of ESF. If you do, then it might just be an older version of a map, that has happened to me in CS before.

It's most likely that you don't have an updated version of Half-Life / CS and/or ESF.
Update your Half-Life version to 1.1.1.0, or CS version to 1.5 and make sure you're running ESF Beta 1.1 (the current version).
