cant play

pls help

i have downloaded esfb123.exe from here

i have istalled esf OK

when i wanted to play i click console in the menu and it couldnt find a file

could not load library F: \programi in igre\program files\SIERRA\Half-Life/esf/cl_dlls\client.dll

then i try multiplayer and i wanted to create server and when i click OK the same thing

you MUST use Steam; WON has been shut down; not only that, but 1.2 is no longer WON supported

aha but i havent go hl in steam because i have it on a cd.

how do i get it in to steam

EDITh yea and BTW my hl is old can i still get it into steam

you can BUT you nead a legit CD-key

with out the CD-key you cant use STEAM sorry

and dont ask here since its against frun regulations

you are just going to have to buy a new HL

EDIT:i have a legit key i bouth hl2 and so i have it

the problem is hl1 i bouth it too but in 199* somewhere

who cares when it was bought if the CD-key wasnt ussed its still legit for STEAM

If it was ussed than you nead a new HL1

but how do install the game so that it will be in steam (when i click play games in steam, i will se half life in there too)

Okay, here is what you do.

Download STEAM from http://www.STEAMPOWERED.com

Install it.

Run it and make a new account.

Log In.

Go to view game list (NOT PLAY GAMES)

At the bottom should be a button that says something like "I have already purchased one of these games" CLICK THAT

You should be asked to enter a CD-Key (Enter you HL1 CD Key)

Then, double click HALF LIFE in your PLAY GAMES list, it will begin downloading.
