Cant Play a game

Hi, I'm Using Steam and ESF 1.2.3. I am using a Legit copy of Half-life. I am using OpenGL mode on my ESF. My problem is, when i try to make my own game, and when i start to connect to it. Iget to the character selection scren and then 1second later i get taken back to the main menu. Some times i dont even make it to the Chr Selection Screen. THANX FOR ALL HELP IN ADVANCE!!!!

Thats what it says..But im using real steam, and downloaded Half-life from them. Thnx for Any Help!

Go to your STEAM directory and delete the file called clientregistry.blob

Other than that i have no idea.

Can you make a screenshot of your STEAM games list.

I think you will have more succes if you ask in in their support forum. They have probably encountered this problem a couple of times before.

well it" probably that steam doesn"t know the game so the system make the game false to say an idea so all you can do is download cs 1.6 no steam or hl no steam or simply erease clientregistry.blob but be sure to make a copy of the file

Do not discuss anything against the rules Super Gokou. Non-Steam (No Steam) is against the rules as it is not official and considered illegal.

Tried a reinstall of HL and then ESF? That tends to fix a lot.

yeah that can work try to reinstall hl then esf it"can be the problem or well simply try to delete the file clientregistry.blob like grega say but it can mess your steam account (say because a friend do that and all gone wrong he lose is steam account)

Now thats just bull****. Thats impossible.

The only thing that clientregistry.blob contains is the information of how much STEAM is updated.

Deleting that file will only force STEAM to reupdate itself.

Its impossible to loose your STEAM account from that.
