Can someone explain to me, step by fricken step!

How do I take a Screenshot of my Desktop?
I have tried like a gazillion times. All people do is tell me
Go into the Print Screen. (Is it the Screen where it shows how I
want to print it out or what paper size ect. ect.? I HAVE NO IDEA)
Anyway they say after that to open up windows paint and just
Paste something on windows paint, cause supposely people keep
saying it automatically "Copy's" for you. And the Print key on my
keyboard wont respond so I gotta click on the printer icon. Does
it do the same ****? I dont know. NO ONE IS BEING SPECIFIC
ENOUGH FOR ME...... sorry for caps. But its getting really frustrating

When you hit the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard it makes a copy of whatever you are viewing into the clip board. You then paste it into a imaging program(IE MS paint or Photoshop).

You then save the image as a JPEG, upload it to a web server(go to www.strike9.com for hosting it), copy then address given to that image once it's on a server and past it here.


Also, if your print screen button does something with your printer(that's the way i understood you)then your freaked.


If that isn't detailed enough then I don't know how else we can help you.

Hey he was only trying to help you, try to download a program that takes screen shots I used to have one, sorry can't remember what it was called.
