everytime i load a third party game (i dled half life and all) when i connect to a server i cant see nothing and then it never takes me ingame. I gotta press esc then it shows something but i cant play...

dose hud_draw is defult 1 ?
if hud_draw is 0 you will not see some stuff when you connect and if it's 1 is your half-life reinstal it
