how do i unlock destined rivals and the treachery thing in dragon adventure mode?

Beautiful Treachery:

Defeat Dodoria with Gohan and Krillin in mission 01 of the Frieza Saga "A Pursuer Who Calls Death".

Destined Rivals:

Defeat Gohan with Goten in mission 01 of the Majin Buu Saga "Training With Goten".

thanks MC. i looked there and at gamewinners, and i browsed through some guides, but i didnt see how to unlock them. just that they were additional stories.

btw is there some effective way to dodge those multiple homing energy attacks that most characters have. i cant ever teleport out of the way.

Unfortunately not... You either try to use an object for cover (such as a hill) or you get hit. Which is a poor solution against certain foes (Raditz did almost all of my health to a 20 health Piccolo in only 3 hits!!)

 

[Adaptus]

You can also try the Power Guard. You do this by holding the Guard button, then the Ki button at the same time. You know you're doing the Power Guard when your character switches its stance to an even more defensive one.

It's a higher powered guard that can better withstand powerful attacks. It's good to use for when you know you can't escape certain attacks.

Oh right, I had forgot. If you can get a perfect stance, your block can negate all damage from the enemies.

Usually requires precise timing for that, otherwise it'll just chase you.

Change direction towards him (if you wanna attack) after a certain point and it definitely wont hit you D: plus you gain the advantage, this is of course a longer range tactic, if you're close range best option is the block thing. Oh i forgot to mention, hold the analogue stick down or up when swooping towards him

when your doing a combo by pressing square, and then you press circle, and hold it, they character takes a wierd stance, what are they doing?

i'm not talking about the counter attack thing

I got it for the wii and i gotta say the motion controls are pretty kick ass. Way better then the standard controller.

The only complaint is how its kind of hard to fly down with out twisting your arm but thats just cause i dont wanna sit differently.
