Budokai 3 in the works

Budokai 3 is supposed to have story mode and powerstruggling. As far as i know the powerstruggling is supposed to work like this.

Goku fires a kamehameha and vegeta fires a gallit gun...the two then have to wiggle the analog sticks and who ever wiggles the fastest wins. This does a constant drain on your energy bar so if both of you are still stuggling and u both run out of ki the beams will explode in your face.

Also Super and Ultimate attacks will have more chances to fail and more chances to be avoided. Every attack is now avoidable Including the Spirit bomb and FInal Flash. The person making it must enter a perfect combo for it to work and the person on the ground can enter a combo to avoid it all together thats much more difficult. The combos include the L and R buttons now and the directional buttons .

Burst mode has been tweaked also. Now instead of having to wiggle the sticks you end up exchanging blows and running away. A vegeta and a goku get into burst mode....The vegeta goes first by entering a command to punch goku in the stomach...the buttons used are the four main ones (square,triangle.etc...) The L and R buttons are battle changers. So when you ar blocking pounding buttons to try to block...when your opponent tries a big attack you smash the L1 button Socking him in the stomach...and now you have the offensive. Cool eh?

This games visuals should be better but I really think that a bonus area will be the story mode of the Sagas they missed in budokai 2. I HOPE!!!

Sorry, but yes that was off topic, and I have a very strong inkling that Nintendo did not decide to make a Dragonball Z game for Gamecube because one of their fans sent them a letter requesting it. It is also not feasable that they would release a copy to a private user out in the public six months before the game was released. I would imagine the game would be released to the public more quickly than six months after it was completed.

Please people, check your Egos at the door, this is not a pissing contest. When you start going off topic and talking about yourself you start conflicts with other people who don't appreciate it. Let's keep it to a minimum.

If it *really did* happen and you *really do* want to prove it you can create a thread for it and scan in a copy of the letter they sent you and perhaps some screen captures from your television. People wont believe you by word of mouth.

It sounds good, but I'll beleive it when I see it. Even if they did add those features and tweak the original stuff, will there be a more complex blocking system? In the first two, there's one blocking zone, where in most games, there's at least two, sometimes three. What about a parry system, will the mobility be smoother? 1 & 2 are sluggish. Will the characters be different, or will each character have only 1 or 2 distinguishing moves, if any. The only good thing about any of the budokai games are the graphics, that's it. The gameplay is horrible, and the cinematic specials do nothing but take away from the gameplay. I wish games would scrap the cinematic special concept. :\

Budokai 3!?Oh boy!Speaking of DBZ games,theres 1 coming out only for Gamecube(finally).The reason why they did cause I sent them a letter and they accepted it.After that I waited about 1 year then they sent me a demo and a preveiw movie.It also came with a letter that said I would receive the game 6 months before its released. Its a lot like Super Smash Bros.Sorry if I changed the subject.

Most games never meet their initial release date... any copy of a game that is given to you 6 months before a release would be crappy anyways.

Go tell your little friends about how "you are responsible for Budokai 3". Maybe THEY will be impressed.
