Budokai 2 MUCH BETTER

No spirit ball but his wolf fang is upgraded to a better attack. its not a weak one, its a move type one now...he well....punches a lot and punches you in the gut then uppercuts your face then he jump up and pounds you to the ground then he charges up a big punch and and levels your chest.

And anyway tien does not have a transformation again but he still is very powerfull...I think he has an attack thats really rare when he and ....that clown kid do a dompa ray together....justin said its real but i didnt see it so im going to trust him.

umm well they have a tribeam kinda kame thing. They charge it as a kame and fire it as a tribeam...and i think they have some really good physical attacks 2.

Well, i haven't played the first one yet, but just a question of curiousity.

Can Hercule inflict any damage at all? and does Goku get any new attacks/strength when he fuses with Hercule?

ok first piccolo....

yes he does get his cape as his alternate uniform...his nail one you can find or buy.

well sync with nail is gone and so is fusewith kami.

he gets super piccolo and thats all i saw.

he gets no more attacks sorry. but he does get a cooler looking special beam.

hercule is not anymore powerful than before and he doesnt get any new attacks and gets a very small strength boost when he fuses.

he also gets an alternate uniform where hes losing his hair.

PS its funny when hercule trys to fuse with goku (instead of goku throwing the earring) he fumbles it a lot and goku almost misses it (it hits goku in the head).

PSS i forgot that piccolo gets somthing cool also. When you transform into superpiccolo he throws off his cape and hat (this is done very fast its hard to track him doing it).

PSSS im sorry i forgot but hercule does get an upgrade...he gets a second trans

after hightension he can trans into champion. he actually gets pretty strong and he gets an attack that can only be done in champion form. Its Hercules Super Ultimate Delay Punch. (from the show but shortend)
He throws a rock and it wizzes by the opponents head the opponent doesnt move but hercule is gone!!! hes up in the air with his jetpack and and poof the jetpack dies and he crashes to the ground...he gets up really fast and trys to get to you but hes limping your guy just starts to giggle and hercule gets pissed and he starts charging a punch...(wiggle them sticks)...once its done he punches and the enemy just sits there and then their eyes open wide and they fly back about 10 feet....this all takes about 20 seconds...its really cool.

So what is Goten like, does he have anything to set him apart from Gohan and Goku?

ok first lets start with the piccolo thing...i believe that piccolo has some good physical techniques...but here is still pretty beam based.

second i havent heard of it coming out on gamecube i think only budokai 1 is doing that

and last but certinly not least goten. This guy is pretty awesome. not only can he fuse withn trunks but he has some pretty cool move. He has the kamekameha. its funny to watch him do it hes acts all confused and he tries to say it right but he shoots it anyway the opponent tries not to laugh but then they get nuked by the beam. goku shakes his head when he hears what goten says but then he gets nuked also..gohan says nono goten thats not right and boom he gets nuked..lol. Goten has the ability to go super saiyan but thats it so hes not a very strong character unless you can fuse. He also has a pretty cool physical attack where he starts zipping around and the opponent tryes to keep up with him. The opponent loses him and goten just kinda sits on his head and he says "HIYA" then he he does a front flip and kicks him in the face. SO goten is pretty cool and as for trunks he has similar attacks but his are more hardcore.

Explain to me how the single player mode works? We can make our own storyline?

no you choose a team of fighters and you go around this type of board game thing hopping spaces and stuff. Its actually very fun...(and hard). For instance if you take a whimp like yamcha into an area sorounded by people like cell and buu your gonna die VERy fast. See you hop spaces untill you land on one that has either a sabimen or an enemy. When you do you fight them and whover wins gets to go on and find a dragonball. Once you gather your first db another board will open and the enemys get harder. When you first start they are like nappas and radditzs and dodrias and zarbons and you know the weaklings. But by the time you get to stage 7 looking for the final DB the enemys are Cells and Kid buus and Cyber freizas...or GOKUS (your worst enemy if he goes ssj3) Opponents can't fuse (i dont think) but you can but really by the time you can fuse the first level will be pretty hard. + after every fight you get a capsule. The harder the fight the better the capsule.

After you get all of the DBS you get a breakthrough capsule for ONE person....But here is the catch...thats only about 10% of the time. The rest is a really rare capsule or maybe a character....about 75% its a Rare or Super Rare capsule...and about 15% of the time its a Character and about 10% of the time its a breakthrough option...btw you dont have options when you summon either. so you cant choose between 3 different characters to unlock or breakthroughs....but you can choose 1 of 3 Super Rare capsules or Rare capsules.

OH and one thing that i really loved about the first budokai was that when 2 certain people fight they say different things to eachother than normal...EX Krillin Vs 18....he stars off by saying " oh man now what?" and she does a little laugh...if she wins she says "see ya" and walks away...BUT if Krillin wins he says " Android 18...I LOVE YOU!!" LOL.
Well this kinda stuff is also in Budokai 2.

And last Budokai 2 has longer cenimas for some things like... sometimes before a fight (in db mode) both characters are flying and they run into eachother and exchange a few blows before they start fighting.
