Come on they dont hurt that much! I feel sorry for you duece,have they pulled those teeth out yet?Thats one stage of the braces i dodge!But my friends say it hurts! Oh and yeah i read my packet bout what not to eat and stuff and the first one was dont drink soda so im like "What no dr.pepper for two years!@$%# this man" I ate everthing it said not to and i never broke one braket,you just got to becareful when you eating the stuff and dont bite down real hard.

well, the first 4 days, they hurt, but not THAT much, but as you did, i have only eaten cerials for 4 days...

Hm, yeah, I had braces too, but Im not sure if I can offer much help. My teeth were pretty crazy, though, but in about a year, they had straitened out, and I had them off fast, never gave me any pain what-so-ever. Now my friend had his for about 5 years or so, lol. I also havent touched my retainers (I wore the bottom one for a few hours, the top one I truely dislike, its almost like you start gagging, its so unpleasant covering the roof of your mouth.) Anyway, I never wore them, and every 6 months or so, the orthodontist said he was glad I was wearing my retainer and all, lol. I told him I wasn't and he thought it was strange that my teeth havent shifting (so I assume if you dont wear them after the fact, they'll revert to their old ways). So....braces aren't too bad, from my standpoint. Just grin and bear it, lol.

Oh YOU THINK BRACES HURT. How about you being tongue tied and the dentist cutting all that flappy crap under your tongue out then your tongue splits and you get stiches. It hurts bad i still have my stitches now. They pull and crap one of em came off and oww i stitches it back together but fudge man i couldn't eat for awhile. I'm happy they come out tomorrow.

I remeber what I did with food when I had braces, I would suck them to the top of my mouth, suck all the flavor out of them, after that they were soggy and tastless, then I would swallow them.

lol i have braces atm..... they only hurt when you get a newer tighter wire on, but it only really hurts when you put pressure on your teeth, gums etc

one thing i do want to know is how do they get that fricken glue and metal bricks offf your teeth?

ahh braces, it was such a long time ago, feels like yesterday. well just look foward to the day you take them off because when i got mine off, my goodness my teeth felt so damn smooth, i kept on licking them cause they were my smooth angels.

and for the eating part, i chewed with the top of my mouth and my tongue... -_- i don't wanna talk about it..

the pain was nice heh, didn't mind it at all, kinda want it back. i liked the feeling when they tighten it, you wake up the next morning and clentch your teeth and have that nice pain in your teeth, i miss that.

i never had braces, but my old girl did. i will tell u this once. do not let your girl go down on you if she has braces. for the love of god she almost tore me a new one DO IT FOR YOUR UNBORN CHILDREN!!
