Blowing up

I just saw some DBZ re-runs on TV and one particular episode gave me some inspiration. Im talkin about the one where Freeza tries to blow up Earth and Trunks catches the ball and then Freeza blows it up. I think you should be able at least blow up the Spirit Bomb and the Death Ball Attack. Just think about it , wouldnt it be cool ?? A camper is charging up the biggest spirit bomb youve ever seen and wants to throw it at the unsuspectng mass of fighters far away from him, but you see him just about to commit this evil act of cowardice and decide to blow up the Spirit Bomb in his face.

maybe... but there are a few flaws in this idea like spirit bomb would become useless as people would just walk over to you and blow it up in your face. And the same for death ball and besides you can do this already just block struggle a SB or BD and RELEASE BLOCK, but why would you want to do that in the first place? Other than to be and ass.

unless you want it like the thrower of the ball can blow it up but that would be a cheat

It would be too easily exploited the way you described it. You couldn't charge up a spirit bomb without getting blown up.

How is throwing a spirit bomb or deathball cowardice? If you give this weakness to these 2 attacks, why not all attacks? Like the kamehameha in Goku/Krillin/Gohan's hands? Or mouthblast or generic? Just simply a bad idea.

Actually I'd like to see a technique or attack given to at least one of that characters that would allow you to detonate or disperse ki waves coming at you of a lower power level than your own. Unfortunately the only examples I can think of off the top of my head would be Brolli's energy-homing ki blasts... any confirmation on whether or not this technique was used in the series? I know kiaho kinda was... but that just sends them back at the user like blocking.
